DREAM , WORK , EARN

Mostafa Mohamed, a farmer who is about 55 years old said: ” this workshops helped us to better understand the agricultural cycle from pest control to increasing crop yield. We are glad that Africorp has financed us through “Good lenses” free of interest, and we are happy that with their help we were able to increase our yield, specifically in our Groundnut operations, and we only hope for more support in the future”.
In accordance with 2020 strategy, Africorp has integrated a set of partnership to mark an important milestone and create a new direction for everyone involved toward creating meaningful transferable knowledge to smallholder farmers as well as increasing their crop yield.
These workshops were held for smallholder farmers to discuss different financial and non-financial services, such as capacity building, agricultural bonds among other services and also to promote “contract farming” models that will help the company gain smallholder farmers’ trust.
ACI financed 178 farmers with interest-free loans, these loans will be paid back in crops at the market rate to support smallholder farmers and help them link the newly acquired knowledge with the field in order to produce crops that meet international standards.
Mr. Mohamed and many other smallholder farmers like him, are Africorp main focus, they should be included and not feel marginalized as they are the center of development and the ones who will push the wheel forward toward a better future.

The goodness in these seeds is immeasurable

WE ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE BIODIVERSITY AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
