Kakamut Gum is produced in Sudan by tapping the tree of Acacia Polyacantha.


Kakamut Gum is a pale white to orange brown solid, which breaks with a glassy fracture. It is mostly obtained in a form of whole spherical tears of varying sizes, with a matter surface texture. When ground the pieces are paler and have a glassy appearance.
